BSUBM's Activities

The BHIKKHU SANGHA`S UNITED BUDDHIST MISSION.
 his is the Registered Organisation .Registered under the Government Different 5 laws as a public representative Organisation. The Registered Head office  is in Mumbai INDIA .

BSUBM has been undertaken among others following Social, Educational and Cultural Activities:

1. Since last  more than 30 years we are working  and promoting Buddhism throughout India and abroad

2. We  have already built up a huge monastery  named as Sarvodaya Maha Buddha Vihara  in Mumbai city  and doing monasterial  services for the people in General.

3. We already established a Vipassana Meditation Centre  and teaching Vipassana  meditation to  many, many people .

4. We taught Vipassana Meditation to more than  20, 000 people and brought them on the sublime path of  great Buddha Dhamma .

5. Time to time we organize  SAMANERAS and MONKS training programmers and strengthening The Bhikkhu Sangha.

6. We organize special retreat of 10 days and 15 days for Lay people.

7. We organize periodically Samanera Diksha Ordination programme.

8. WE organize Astha Sheela Uposatha, The Sabbath Programme for ladies and gentlemen  and teach them the Dhamma

9. We have stated and running a boys hostel for school going students since last 20 years. Hundreds of students are getting benefit of it.

10. Since last 12 years we are running a special DEAF & DUMB residential school for handicap children and supporting  them

11. Every Sunday we organize a special DHAMMA SUNDAY school for children age group of 5 to 12 years of age and teach them Noble Dhamma.

12. Every day  early in the morning at  5.30 AM we  do a special prayer and meditation for the peace and harmony to the people .

13. Daily every evening at 7.00 PM again we organize prayer  and Dhamma discourse for the people .

14. We have built up a guest house and provide lodging and boarding  for visiting  Monks and lay people at the monastery

15. Time to time we organize Dhamma Seminars and conferences at local level some times An International level.

16. Our Monks from our Sarvodaya Maha Buddha Vihara ,the well known monastery  travel place to place and spread the Lord  Buddha`s Teaching in the  society

17. We publish Audio and Video C.D. and cassettes for propagation of Dhamma and spread moral teaching in the society till date we brought out 14 C.D.

18. We publish small books and booklets and spread the Great teaching of Lord Buddha among the people.

19. We organize inter  faith religions Seminars and invite all religions Dharma Leaders and followers and promote the Peace & harmony.

20. We have established about 10 monasteries at different part of  India the branches of our monastery.

21. We got about 25 Acres of land  as a donation to our organization  at different places .

22. I delivered  more than 8000 Dhamma talks , The religious Discourses on The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Radio and spread the Dhamma.

23. Time to time I am invited to deliver The Dhamma speeches on the T.V. for the public .

24. Our  Bhikkhu Sangha`s United Buddhist  Mission , the Organization  is the active Regional Member of the  World Fellowship Of Buddhist.

25. Time to time specially we organize Special Dhamma Seminars only for Ladies and teach them Dhamma.

26. Time to time We organize special camps for Collage going students and teach them Meditation And Noble Dhamma.

27. We have established a library  as a Nalanda  Library  and protect the Knowledge books and TRI  PITAKA the Dhamma Books.

28. About  1.5  million Buddhist people live in Mumbai city.

29.More than 50,000 members are associated to our monastery of Mumbai .

30. Time to time we organize foreign pilgrimages tours to Buddhist countries and develop the good relations and friendship.

31. We organize Buddhist monks and provide them the facilities of  learning and education .and try to strengthen Buddhism .  

These are the works  we do through our Bhikkhu Sangha`s United Buddhist Mission  in Mumbai and through out India .
